Yes. ChristmasPrism is free to download, explore, and add your own display. Optional Pro features are available in the app.
Where can I find Christmas lights near me?
Explore the interactive map on the website or in the app, or browse the website directory by state and city. Open a display for photos, visiting details, and directions, and check its hours before you visit.
How do I add my house?
Sign in on the website with Google or email, or use your existing app account. Verify your email, add the display you own or operate, and share its address, map pin, photos, description, and hours. Website submissions are reviewed before publishing. Free listings include up to five photos.
Can I track Santa in my town?
Yes, when a participating local fire department broadcasts its Santa run. Tracking is free for families and participating departments. Check your department’s announcements for dates and availability.
How do I plan a Christmas lights route?
In the app, choose the displays you want to visit, add them to a route, put the stops in order, and save or share the route. Check each display’s hours before setting off.
What does ChristmasPrism Pro include?
Pro includes up to ten photos per display, instant publishing in the app, and holiday radio. New website submissions currently go through review. Current prices, billing periods, and renewal terms are shown in the app before purchase.
How do Christmas decorating contests work?
List your display in the app, find a contest you qualify for, read its rules, and enter. Each contest sets its location, entry period, voting rules, and prizes.
Can our town host a contest?
Yes. Towns, fire companies, chambers, HOAs, and community groups can contact ChristmasPrism about a free hosted town contest. Agree on the area, dates, rules, and prizes before sharing it with residents.
Does a directory listing mean the lights are on tonight?
No. The website directory is a snapshot of listings marked live and approved when it was refreshed. It does not verify opening hours or confirm that a display is operating tonight. Open the display details or check the app for visiting information.
Can I buy Pro or control my light show on the website?
Pro purchases currently happen in the app. Show control is planned and is not yet available. The website does not offer live show control or web subscription checkout.
